National Diabetes Month

Did you know that November is Diabetes Month and that November 14 is always World Diabetes Day?  World Diabetes Day is celebrated world wide and is noted by a blue circle symbolizing diabetes and unity.  Take this opportunity to get you blood glucose checked (Hemoglobin A1c level) to see your risk of developing diabetes. And if you have diabetes think about any diabetes tune-ups you can do to improve your health.  Perhaps start a new healthy habit at the holidays such as a holiday stroll around the neighborhood to see all the lights. Maybe get a jump start on your exercise routine and join a gym before the end of the year.  Or perhaps try a new recipe that not only is delicious but can help manage you blood glucose levels.
