How many of you would like to sit down to a meal that taste good and that is good for you? Wouldn’t it be great if we could snap our fingers and it would appear? Like any thing in life we need to have a plan. Meal planning and preparation can save you time, money, and stress. Here are 5 tips that might help.
Tip #1: Make a List: Try to keep a running list on your refrigerator of the items that need to be replaced and then just add to this list.
Tip #2: Plan Ahead: Before you go to the grocery store plan out some meals you would like to make for that week.
Tip #3: Healthy Plate: Make sure when planning your meals that you are keeping the healthy plate in mind. Try not to leave any food groups out.
Tip #4: Organize it: List the foods you plan on buying according to the layout of the supermarket.
This will save time and prevent you from having to go up and down each aisle.
Tip #5: DO NOT GO TO THE SUPERMARKET HUNGRY!
