Recipe: Spring Smoothie
With the days growing longer and the sun shining for an extra hour, it means warmer days are right around the corner! To get you motivated to leave that cozy fire and tackle a day full of spring cleaning, we’re choosing a tropical smoothie!
With the addition of spinach and avocado for some brain and skin nourishment, the iron, protein, healthy fat, and vitamin combination is going to leave you feeling like Wonder Woman!
Ingredients:
One banana
1/2 cup frozen blueberries
One cup of frozen tropical fruit
One cup frozen spinach
4 ounces of either orange/pineapple/or mango juice
6 to 8 ounces of water depending on thickness variability
Optional – 2 tablespoons ripe avocado
Blend and pulse well for two minutes, makes about three servings. Tastes like spring!
